Version:           1.12.2 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Debian packages)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-5.slh.2-sidux-686

By default, forwarding a message will append it as attachment.
Usually I prefer the inline forwarding because I can edit the text there,
and then some mail clients don't display nested attachments...

I'd find it helpfull if I could configure kmail's default behaviour for clicking on the forward button...

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
