The Spanish keyboard layout (ES) is not producing the correct characters. For example the keys [ and 'e' produce è ..but should produce an e with the accent in the opposite direction. And the keys { and 'u' produce ù but should produce a u with the two dots above it. The ; key IS CORRECTLY producing ñ and à oddly enough though.

These are the problems with xfree86 layout. Please take a look at
/etc/X11/xkb/symbols/es and if you think it's wrong send a patch to
xfree86.
