I often send attached text files (patches etc) and every time I need to go to attachment property and check "Suggest automatic display". This really becomes tedious. Would be nice to have global check box to enable it by default. May be, it could be limited to "known" types which still is quite useful.

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
