Description Mark 2010-01-07 23:27:25 UTC
Version:            (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

* What happens:
A pdf opened in presentation mode opens a black screen with a smaller white rectangle saying 'Title: ..', when i click, it moves to the first (and other pages of the pdf file), BUT only a tiny window is shown (like 1/10 of screen size).

* Reproducible: always

* Steps to reproduce: open a pdf and go to presentation mode

* Attachements: a screenshot

* Backends:
[marek@beruska ~]$ yaourt -Qs ghostscript
extra/ghostscript 8.70-3
     An interpreter for the PostScript language
extra/gsfonts 8.11-5
     Ghostscript standard Type1 fonts

Thank you :)

* Output from commandline (not very useful though):

Happens with all pdf or only one?

Also the ghostscript version is quite irrelevant to render pdf files...
Comment 3 Mark 2010-01-07 23:43:57 UTC

@ghostscript: sorry, I don't see to the details, don't know how to get more info on the bug..

Thank you, Mark
Comment 4 Mark 2010-01-07 23:48:25 UTC

Which okular version are you using?

Which window manager are you using?
Comment 8 Albert Astals Cid 2010-01-08 00:50:41 UTC
Can you also attach the kwinrc and kwinrulesrc files? Both the ones of your local config and global config if they exist

Nothing suspicious

Do you have desktop effects enabled, does it work if you disable them?
Comment 16 Mark 2010-01-08 02:23:35 UTC
No, it's not related to desktop effects, but I found out that:
*open a document and go to presentation = bug
*open a document, go to another page, then presentation = no bug!
...or maybe not. I can sometimes reproduce it, sometimes not. (both w/ effects
on/off).

Better use bugzilla's interface, otherwise sucky gmail quoting spams. Thanks.
Comment 18 Albert Astals Cid 2010-01-22 00:19:22 UTC
Just for the sake of completeness could you attach a pdf that has this problem for you?
Comment 19 Mark 2010-03-22 10:17:38 UTC
Hello, trying this from kde 4.4.1, the bug is gone.
Great job, thank you :)
