Description Mohd Asif Ali Rizwaan 2010-01-06 06:28:56 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.3.85 (KDE 4.3.85 (KDE 4.4 Beta2)), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31-17-generic

plasma widget - system monitor - network, does not show ppp0 interface, after a reboot of my system.

I use only ppp0 (as evdo 3g connection is the only network i have). So, using eth0 is of no use to me.

on the next reboot, sys mon network plasma widget does not show ppp0. And the "System monitor network settings -> interfaces" only shows eth0.

Expected behavior:

1. should not forget the settings!
2. should allow the user to manually add an interface and save it.

thanks.

Closing for lack of feedback. Please feel free to reopen this report if you can still reproduce this with KDE 4.8.3 or later.
