To improve platform integration:

Lets say I save a file in KWrite. If I then open Dolphin, there should be a place where I can see the folder that my text file is in.

This differs from the Recent Documents functionality in the KMenu and KWrite because it let me quickly switch from editing my file to managing my file in the filesystem.
