Description Vincent Tassy 2010-01-04 15:24:51 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

It would be great to be able to copy EXIF/XMP data from one image to another.

Sometimes you start editing a jpg image, save it as tiff to avoid losing quality but in the end need to export it as another JPG file. Today, I use exiftool on the command line to copy the EXIF data from the original image to the new one.
Same applies when creating panoramas from several JPGs, I like to copy the EXIF from one of the source images to the generated JPG panorama ...

For digikam there is already a menu entry to copy exif/IPTC etc. information. Or do you want this for other applications to?
