Description btuutp45 2010-01-03 22:54:15 UTC
Version: 4.3.2 (using 4.3.2 (KDE 4.3.2), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.30-2-686

From the To-Do List I want to assign a category to a new task
I right click and pick a sub-category (eg. personal:fitness)
It assigns the To-Do only to the personal:fitness not the parent fitness

I then click on category filter at the top and select Fitness ... task does not show. I select "Personal" and it doesn't show. I select both and it still doesn't show.

I need to manually edit the task, and select the Parent category before the category filter works.

I think the expected behavior would be that if you right click assign a sub-category to a task, it should automatically assign it to the parents group as well.

I marked this myself as Invalid now because I did further experiments with Categories and realized I was trying to duplicate a Sub-Task structure using Categories and Sub-Categories and was basically messing myself up.
