Description S. Burmeister 2010-01-03 15:13:01 UTC
Version: svn Rev: 1069274 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

As you can see in the screenshot some thumbnails have a white stripe on one side while others don't. It's nothing major but does not look nice.

The theme is "Dark".

Which digiKam version you use ?

Comment 3 S. Burmeister 2010-01-03 15:28:40 UTC
It's svn Rev: 1069274
Comment 4 Marcel Wiesweg 2010-01-03 16:31:29 UTC
Is it reproducible for each picture, that is, if you touch a picture and the thumbnail is regenerated, it's there again?
Comment 5 S. Burmeister 2010-01-03 20:41:44 UTC
If I touch a picture and press F5 the white stripe is gone. If I press F5 again it re-appears. Touching it makes it go away again until I reload with F5.

If you switch forth and back between different albums, do the stripes stay?
If you restart digikam, are the stripes back again? In each case, are exactly the same pictures affected?

In your screenshot, there are some images in wrong rotation, with the stripe at the top. Is this always like this, the stripe at the (corrected) left side? Are these pictures rotated because of a (wrong) exif rotation tag, or are they awaiting manual rotation and have no flag set?

Any such problem still reproducable with 2.0?

New digiKam 4.11.0 is available.

Can you reproduce the problem with this release ?

With digiKam 5.0.0, this problem is not reproducible.
