Description Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2010-01-03 14:54:56 UTC
Version: (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

When selecting text that contains an apostrophe, then right-click on it and search e.g. on google for that text, rekonq will cut everything after the apostrophe, including the apostrophe.

Example:

Go to:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Monk_episodes#Season_7:_2008.E2.80.932009

then scroll a it down until you see '"Mr. Monk's 100th Case"'.
Select that and right-click on it and then search for it e.g. on google.

rekonq will only search for '"Mr. Monk'

thanks :-)

same issue as described above, but this time with the and-sign "&".

:-)
Comment 3 Andrea Diamantini 2010-02-06 01:18:22 UTC
Pano, is this fixed now?
Comment 4 Panagiotis Papadopoulos 2010-02-07 13:01:29 UTC
no, rekonq still has problems with the & sign.

e.g. enter "ab & c" into the rekonq URL bar and it will only search for "ab".
