Description marco 2010-01-03 14:28:03 UTC
Version: 0.80.2 (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE RPMs

module text effects ist configured to fade text color from HEX #333333 via #444444 (and so on) to #888888 and backwards (to create some kind of wave optic)
color is changed on every character/letter
now icq messages longer than 89 characters cannot be sent (appear in chat window but with alert sign after message)
i tested it with msn protocol and there it works fine
if i deactivate the text effects plugin, long icq messages can be sent properly
Comment 1 marco 2010-01-03 14:32:20 UTC
sorry, think i've chosen the wrong component, should be text effects plugin instead of testbed plugin ?!
Comment 2 Roman Jarosz 2010-01-03 18:24:47 UTC
Actually there's not much we can do about it because if every char has own color then in html one char takes like 15 char and ICQ has 2000 chars limit for one message
