Description FSM 2010-01-02 12:33:04 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Archlinux Packages

Amarok deletes specific Albums from the current playlist after being colsed and opened again. I have already tried to solve the problem by removing the config files, but this does not help. The albums are not specific. I know about 3 albums (one in flac, one in mp3, one mixed), which are regulary removed. Other albums of the same artist are not effected.
This all does not effect the saved playlist.

Are those albums tagged with MusicBrainz?
Comment 2 FSM 2010-01-02 13:42:52 UTC
No they are tagged and ripped by K3B or Sound Juicer.
I forgot to say that this is not an Archlinux problem. I had the same on sidux(I think also with the same albums).

Briefly looking at k3b's source, there are a lot of things related to MusicBrainz. Chances are good it uses MB for tagging. If that was the case then it is a known problem and I'm working towards merging the fix in for the next Amarok release.
