Description art alexion 2010-01-01 17:03:35 UTC
Version: 1.12.2 (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I have been having problem with the folder identities that I set, "sticking". I subscribe to some lists with my gmail account. I keep setting the list folders to the gmail identity, but they keep reverting to the alexion.com identity, which is the default identity set for kmail as a whole in the identities tab. I have gmail set as the identity for the account (in the account settings, Advanced tab), and Use Default Identity is unchecked and I choose gmail, but it keeps reverting to alexion.com. This happens after a period of time while kmail is running. I don't need to close and restart kmail for the reversion to occur, but it is not instantaneous.

By the way, I tried to use apport to report this but apport crashes. kmail is stable as far as crashes, it is just this configuration saving problem..

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
