Version: 0.80.2 (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux The MSN nickname on Kopete can not be set. When we set it to a new one, it will revert back to the name we registered on the MSN personal data. For example, when I register my MSN account, I set my name as Franklin Weng. When using Kopete to run this MSN account, I set my nickname as "Goodhorse". The name "Goodhorse" could not be saved, it will convert back to "Franklin Weng." Pidgin, Emenese, and KMess all have the same problem. I wondered if it was because something changed in the MSN protocol. However, KMess fixed this problem. I think it can be fixed, and should be fixed.

I've got the same problem here. It will quite regularly fall back to a display name which didn't make much sense to me. I'm not using any real details on the MSN personal data page, just some random garbage, so that's probably why. Thanks for clarifying that part, Frank Weng. :) Fedora 12 Kopete Version 1.0.0 Using KDE Development Platform 4.3.95 (KDE 4.3.95 (KDE 4.4 RC2))
