Compiler:          gcc-4.4.2 
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages

If you add the "show folder" plasmoid on the desktop, it expands the folders under the cursor. 
Unfortunately it doesn't do the same if you have it on the panel. It would help a lot the quick navigation.
