(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***) Package: konqueror Version: KDE 2.1.0 Severity: normal Installed from: Debian Package 4:2.1.0-0.potato2 (2.2) Compiler: gcc version 2.95.2 20000220 (Debian GNU/Linux) OS: Linux 2.4.1 i586 OS/Compiler notes: Hi maybe I just don't get it - but I'm trying to configure konqueror to treat *.gz files just as if they were uncompressed but shove them through its internal gzip filter first. I.e. I want to be able to click on a .ps.gz file and konqueror starts the application that is associated with *.ps files and hands over the _uncompressed_ file. Same for .tif.gz or .html.gz or whatever. I configured konqueror to handle application/x-gzip with the internal gzip filter (in the "embedding tab" in the file associations configuration dialog) and configured all other file associations correctly. But now konqueror tells me it doesn't know what to do with .gz files. What's wrong here? Thanks Jens (Submitted via bugs.kde.org) (Called from KBugReport dialog. Fields Application E-Mail manually changed)

But now konqueror tells me it doesn't know what to do with .gz files. Hehe clever try but it won't work like that :) > What's wrong here? That it hasn't been done yet. You already submitted this wish btw :) (->closing as a duplicate). Dawit, these are no duplicates. Is it possible to unmark them as duplicates?
