Description Michael 2009-12-27 08:46:28 UTC
Version:           1.0.0 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 6", openSUSE 11.2)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop

Within German internationalization instead of displaying the German text its corresponding English text is used. That happens within some contexts like e.g.

Einstellungen->dikam einrichten->Sammlungen
  Text below "Basisordner" is in English

Einstellungen->dikam einrichten->Verschiedene Einstellungen
  Second button is labeled in English - "Confirm when permanently
  deleting items."

Most tips use English instead of German.

Hi,
The problem you described is caused by an unfinished translation of digiKam :-P
I will try my best to complete it for the next version :-)

Next version is planed for 31/01/2010.

No big new changes. only bugfixes. All indeep changes are done in dedicated branches for this moment. So you can continue to translate...

I'll close this report now.
The translation was updated and the objected strings are now translated (checked in v1.1.0).

The translation is not completed yet, but it does not make sense to keep reports open to remind us of unfinished translations. :)

Thanks for the report.
