Hi, The problem you described is caused by an unfinished translation of digiKam :-P I will try my best to complete it for the next version :-)
Next version is planed for 31/01/2010. No big new changes. only bugfixes. All indeep changes are done in dedicated branches for this moment. So you can continue to translate... Gilles Caulier
I'll close this report now. The translation was updated and the objected strings are now translated (checked in v1.1.0). The translation is not completed yet, but it does not make sense to keep reports open to remind us of unfinished translations. :) Thanks for the report.
