Version: 4.0.4RC2-1 (using KDE 4.3.4) OS: Linux Installed from: Archlinux Packages I am unable to pair my Logitech Cordless MediaBoard Pro PlayStation 3 (http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-PlayStation-3-Cordless-MediaBoard-Pro/dp/B000W5RBQE) using kbluetooth 4.0.4RC2-1 The bluez version is bluez version is 4.58-1 The pin dialog box open when i use the device manager, i have tried typing 0000 in it and then tried typin the same in the bluetooth keyboard, but nothing works. The device shows as connected, if I press disconnect and try to connect again nothing happens.
I don't have this keyboard so I can't test it :( Can you test if you're able to pair the keyboard with other bluetooth softwares such blueman? Thanks!
Well i do not use gnome related software, but I was able to pair it with plain BLUEZ using sudo hidd --search I was unable to get it to pair after sleep or after computer restart automatically. The question is what is the PIN? Windows 7 gives me a default number to type in in the keyboard and press enter. Why does the UI say connected eventhough there is a background dialog box open asking for pin and warning that it will not function if not paired. Alex found out you have to press enter after entering the PIN number in the bluetooth keyboard. I was not pressing ENTER KEY Sorry the bug is invalid. I do still believe the UI could be more friendly to stupid ppl like me and I am also not sure if this allows the keyboard to connect on startup Thanks
