OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Archlinux Packages

I keep seeing contacts which i have long deleted, or they are junk accounts. When I login into web yahoo messenger  I do not see the contact, but when i login into Kopete i see them. I have tried deleting them multiple times but they keep re appearing

I see the same thing. The contacts were mainly deleted a long time ago, and did not appear in the KDE3 version of Kopete. They also do not appear in the Windows version of Yahoo Messenger or in Pidgin.

Deleting the contacts works, and they do not appear immediately when Kopete is restarted. When Kopete attempts to log into Yahoo however, they reappear.

I'm using version 0.80.2 on KDE 4.3.2.

The yahoo plugin (as of KDE SC 4.4) now respects the yahoo blacklist and prevents users on that list and other unauthorized users from being added to your buddy list. Please reopen this bug if you still see this problem with KDE SC 4.4
