Version:           2.3.4 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Debian packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.32-2.slh.2-sidux-amd64

Edit exif -> modify exif -> apply -> save image as xyz
Load xyz -> view exif: the same exif as original image, no modification saved§

Can you still reproduce this with gwenview 4.10.x?
