Created attachment 39299 [details] Add git-svn support to kdesvn-build It would be nice for kdesvn-build to take advantage of existing module checkouts for developers using git-svn to interact with KDE modules. To that end Trever Fischer has come up with a patch, but since I will not have time to integrate it before 1.11 I'm opening this bug to make sure I don't drop it. (Trever, your patch looks OK, but I do want to try to modularize a bit better in kdesvn-build if we're going to support three different module types, which will take me some more time to do right, but I don't want to hold up 1.11 to do it)
Well it's taken a long time but kdesrc-build has been modularized a lot more now, and probably could support this in a more maintainable fashion. Is there still interest in this, or has the opening of full-git services made this mostly extraneous? I don't plan on implementing this myself but I'm willing to aid in development against the more-modular current code base.
I'll just mark this as NEEDSINFO for now. Note that bzr support was added fairly easily just recently so it should be much easier to do IMHO (although I do need to document it better, I'll admit)
