Description Darin McBride 2009-12-24 00:42:19 UTC
Version: 4.3.4 (using 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31-gentoo-r6

Basically, I would expect that when I click on the newsticker icon in the system tray, the Feeds tab (?) in kontact would get selected and show me the feeds. Instead, whatever application was already selected stays in front, and I have to select the feeds explicitly.

Not that this is different from the kmail systray icon behaviour, now that I look at it, just that Mail is the usual one I have selected.

If this is something for kontact, I hope they can fix all of these icons at the same time. If not, I hope that you can open follow-on bug reports for other apps that may have the same issue.

The same problem in KDE SC 4.4, openSUSE 11.3.

I can confirm it, KDE 4.4.1 (openSUSE 11.2).
