Description kmail-bug 2009-12-22 11:27:58 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

when moving mails from a folder on imap server a to imap server b kmail consumes more and more memory, I ended up with 2.6G virt mem after moving some 600MB mails (it then didn't quit cleanly, but this is not the core issue)
Seems similar to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95461.

I really love kmail but this is a shame. I had to switch to Thunderbird to move my mails, worked without any flaw.

I'll be happy to provide more details if needed but this seems to be general issue, I already had that when moving from one server to another about 1 year ago.
