I wonder if this could be related to bug 197936 or the glibc bug: bug 196207.

Can you try the following:
- Open Konsole
- Run "killall krunner" (this will close Krunner)
- Type "export MALLOC_CHECK_=" + Enter
- Type "export QT_NO_GLIB=1" + Enter
- Type "krunner" + Enter
KRunner starts
- Now use Krunner and try to repeat the crash

- If you can still reproduce the crash at will, can you install the "kdelibs5-dbg" package and post a complete backtrace here? Thanks
