Version: 1.10.1 (enterprise4 0.20091204.1058385) (using 4.2.2 (KDE 4.2.2), MinGW 3.4.5) Compiler: gcc.exe OS: Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional) I'm using Kontact for Windows, beta from 2009-12-04, e4 branch. I received an E-Mail (plain text!) which has a Link to a website inside. When I click on this address it opens in the browser, but the browser opens the wrong URL. This is the Mail message (example from mailman, happens on other messages as well): =================================================== The kde-i18n-de@kde.org mailing list has 1 request(s) waiting for your consideration at: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/admindb/kde-i18n-de Please attend to this at your earliest convenience. This notice of pending requests, if any, will be sent out daily. Pending posts: From: michalm@jabster.pl on Sun Dec 20 22:17:06 2009 Subject: [Bug 219421] K3b/German: apostrophes in audio patterns should not be translated Cause: Post by non-member to a members-only list =================================================== When I click on the Adress https://mail.kde.org/mailman/admindb/kde-i18n-de it will ask me for an application to open this address with. I choose Firefox, which immediately launches 2 windows. One firefox-window opens with the default homepage, the other one shows an error page that the URL cannot be found. In the address bar of firefox I see this URL instead of the correct one: http://mailman/admindb/kde-i18n-de A similiar error happens with Internet explorer, which tries to load c:///C:/mailman/admindb/kde-i18n-de instead. It seems, URL handling in the email message window is not working correct - it is beeing detected as a local URL instead of a http(s) url. Cheers Thomas
As of today I can say that this bug no longer occurs with kontact for windows version 4.8.5. Thus I close this bug.
