Hello, in the space of work (in Desktop, in system settings), I have set Netbook and Snow an Independent Wigdet set for test, but when I have try return to desktop it stay in netbook mode.

- What is your KDE SC 4.4 svn version ?
- Is this problem happening during the same session or even after restarting the PC ? (I fixed a related bug some days ago.)

- How did you installed KDE SC 4.3.82 ? If you compiled it by source then you can use some commands to retrieve the svn version

Via the kde gentoo overlay. With gentoo all is compiled from source.

But it is automatic, so you can't determine the svn version.
Let's wait for KDE SC 4.4 beta2 so you can try this again. Thanks
