Application that crashed: kde4-window-decorator

What I was doing when the application crashed:
At start time, I run fusion-icon to startup the Compiz window manager and while it launches just fine, kde-window-decorator crashes and I'm left without window decorations.  Everything else works just fine though.

Attempting to switch window managers from compiz to kwin sees a return of window decorations, but switching back to compiz sees another crash and still no decorations :-(
