Hello, My knode does not cause frequent wakeup. So, please, could you provide more information to set up knode so that it behaves badly in this area ?
This is KNode from ArchLinux package.. ArchLinux ussually doesn't patch programs, so it should be pretty much vanilla. I don't know what more information would you need? Maybe my config files (~/.kde4/share/apps/knode/)?
I would need a way to reproduce this. At least, - do you see those wakeups when the knode's window is completly hidden? - do you have automatic checking enable for your account? - a textual copy of the powertop screen. Trying to login with a new user and see if you can still see those wakeups with the default configuration of knode would be better. If it don't, then, step by step, modify the configuration to have the same config as the one of your current login account. This would help us to find what cause the wakeup inside KNode.
