I remember having seen something similar fixed already for the upcoming Amarok 2.2.2. Duplicate of bug 216873?
I also reported that bug and I think they are different. In this case the problem is that amarok won't delete files from the remote server.
Is this still valid in Amarok 2.2.2 or current git?

Could you please upgrade to a newer Amarok version and test again? Current is Amarok 2.4.0, Amarok 2.4.1 is to be released tomorrow. Please report back.

Tested with today's git version. According to http://www.mp3tunes.com/api/doc/apiv1/lockerDelete to send a file to trash Amarok must use something like: http://content.mp3tunes.com/storage/lockerDelete/<file key>?output=xml&sid=<sid>&partner_token=9999999999 But it uses the following: http://content.mp3tunes.com/storage/lockerplay/...........
Currently mp3tunes web page seems to be quite broken. I will create a test account once that is fixed. For now: What you have seen there is the normal mp3tunes collection wanting to play a song. The delete operation does not seem to be implemented. It should be in Mp3tunesServiceCollectionLocation.cpp
The web page is not working yet. I read somewhere that this service is facing bankruptcy, so maybe it won't work again.
Apparently the service is still online, but it is not possible anymore to buy mp through the service. The locker is still active, though: https://shop.mp3tunes.com/ We will have to check if our links are still up to date as well.

But its not possible to download any songs from mp3tunes Right?? We can create a locker and store songs but now even that locker is not getting created. Basically i want to see the bug but i am not able to do that, Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Well, mp3locker is a paid for service, you would need an account. Not sure the service still exists, though, the website seems not to be very functional and apparently is now in Chinese only

If you can't make a locker at mp3tunes then you should complain to them. The locker is an online storage for your tracks, and accessible from Amarok, but to make the locker you need to check the online service directly, not through Amarok

Sure, you can kind of work on this, but at the moment the whole mp3tunes service is disabled from compilation. I don't have any idea if it works currently at all (it might) or when was the last time someone actually tried using it. But I guess it might work, at least with small fixes. So, if you want to work on this specific bug, I think the preliminary steps are 1) enable mp3tunes compilation in CMakeLists.txt 2) test if it compiles & do required fixes if it doesn't 3) test if it works at all & do required fixes if it doesn't After these steps, this bug can be worked on.
