Description Johannes Engel 2009-12-16 20:25:39 UTC
+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #204165 +++

Version: (using KDE 4.3.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: openSUSE BuildService - home:j-engel

When creating and feeding Akonadi Google Data resources with credentials, nothing happens.

The agent keeps complaining of "Invalid Password".

As far as I can see from wireshark there is not even a network connection built up.
Nevertheless, it does not seem to be a problem of libgcal since the demo program from the homepage runs flawlessly.
Is there any way to determine where the fault lies?

Maybe my problem is related to this bug.

The first time I sync, akonadi-kde-resource-googledata works like a charm, then the next day it isn't working anymore with the message:
"Not yet authenticated for use of Google calendar"
When I re-enter the username & pass, nothing happens. (Password is stored in kwallet, when i restart akonadi-server it asks for kwallet password even if it's already open...)
Sync of google contacts is still working.
Every time I remove+add akonadi_gcal_resource_* its working again.

Linux 2.6.30-2-686 GNU/Linux Debian Squeeze/sid
akonadi-kde-resource-googledata 1.0.1-1 akonadi-server 1.2.1-1+b1 libgcal0 0.9.3-1 kdelibs5 4:4.3.4-1 kontact 4:4.3.4-1 kaddressbook 4:4.3.4-1 libqtcore4 4:4.5.3-4

my problem seems to be resolved.

I deleted my akonadi config files, and re-entered my info. Also upgraded to kernel 2.6.32

Linux 2.6.32-trunk-686 GNU/Linux Debian Squeeze/sid
akonadi-kde-resource-googledata 1.0.1-1
akonadi-server 1.2.1-1+b1
kdepim-runtime 4:4.3.4-1
kdepim-runtime-dbg 4:4.3.4-1
libakonadiprivate1 1.2.1-1+b1
libgcal0 0.9.3-1

Problem seems to be back with the error message:
"Not yet authenticated for use of Google calendar."
I can re-enter my credentials without any apparent effect.

using Debian GNU/Linux 2.6.32-3-686 (squeeze)
akonadi-kde-resource-googledata 1.0.1-2
akonadi-server 1.3.1-3+b1
kdepim-runtime 4:4.4.3-1
libgcal0 0.9.3-1
Comment 4 Rein 2010-06-02 14:26:34 UTC
again i removed:
~/.local/share/akonadi
~/.config/akonadi
~/.kde/share/config/akonadi*
after that i ran: mysql_install_db --datadir=$HOME/.local/share/akonadi/db_data/
akonadictl start
added the google resources again (crash due to bug 202728) and akonadi is synced fine again.

Is it exist now?
First I added GCal to Akonadi and type my passwords, I've "Invalid password" error. After restart Akonadi and (maybe) retype login information, it works normal.
Could you try to repeat this error now?
