What I was doing when the application crashed:
I had 5 apps open.  Google Chrome, Glade, DevHelp, Terminal, and Gedit (I had just opened Gedit, but had arrived at the empty text file).  I switched back to Chrome to copy some code from a web page, and that is when KDE reported that Plasma had crashed.  I did not loose any data.
