Version: 0.3.0 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 6", openSUSE 11.2) Compiler: gcc OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop rekonq does not show a menubar but transfers all options into a dropdown list. While I fully understand that it is perfect for some people, I'd really prefer a menubar. First it's easier to navigate by keyboard (but currently there's not that much reachable in the menu, so this is more a problem in the future). Second, the menubar is sometimes part of the theme and is important for a nice look and feel. Even more so when KDE will support the mac-like menubar at the top again. So would it be possible to make the menubar optional? Like switching between the "traditional" menubar and this dropdown list? Thank you very much for rekonq and keep on integrating into KDE's framework :-)
vote for this too :) although i dont even like the menu bar ( hope to replace it with a mac-like menubar like in kde3 ) , it would be great for consistency. having one and only one app without a menu bar is weird thanks
We decided this way, sorry. And we really like it. No plans to reintroduce it
