Description Augusto Leite 2009-12-12 22:42:45 UTC
Version:            (using Devel)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Compiled sources

Possibility to move plasmoids on/from panel even with the widgets locked. This weird bug happens only in one specific situation...

How to reproduce:

1) Open the new widgets explorer using the PANEL toolbox;
2) Right-click on the DESKTOP and choose lock widgets on the contextmenu (shouldn't the widgets explorer disappear when locking widgets?);

Although the panel toolbox disappears and the widgets are locked, you can move plasmoids and remove them from the panel.

Interesting enough, if you open the widgets explorer from desktop toolbox, it doesn't happen.. :)

Keep up the great work guys!

Makes sense...

This behavior is wrong, IMHO.

Thank you for the report =)

With 4.3.85 the widget browser disappears whenever I right-click on the desktop, meaning that it disappears before I can lock it. If this is the case for others, then this is probably fixed.

Not happening here, unfortunently. The bug is still there

Qt: 4.6.0
KDE Development Platform : 4.3.85 (KDE 4.3.85 (KDE 4.4 Beta2))
kde4-config: 1.0
Comment 5 Aaron J. Seigo 2010-06-04 01:24:36 UTC
works in trunk (4.5)
