Description DEEPAK 2009-12-12 20:03:40 UTC
Version: 4.3.80 (using Devel)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled sources

These widgets crash on starting them- when trying to add them to desktop as widgets.

 kget, opendesktop, fancytask and knowledgebase.

Plasma-workspace seems to refresh / restart after crash.

No crash report / backtraces generated.

Note that FancyTasks is not developed by KDE and therefore we can't support it. However all the other widgets are official.

Try the following:
- Open Konsole
- Run "kquitapp plasma-desktop" on Konsole
- Wait 6 seconds
- Run "plasma-desktop" on Konsole
Plasma will start
- Reproduce the crash: add those widgets
Plasma should crash and the crash handler dialog should appear.
- Click in the Developers Information tab, wait until the backtrace is loaded, copy it here..

Thanks
