Description Ian Turner 2009-12-08 16:41:11 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I discovered this bug after upgrading to Ubuntu Karmic Koala. I am not using Kubuntu. If you'd rather I report this bug over at launchpad.net first, just let me know.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Start Kaddressbook.
2. Click the "New Contact" button, or browse to File...New...Contact.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Dialog box would appear prompting information on new contact.

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
Nothing happens (no crash, no dialog box, no feedback of any kind).

Since this isn't a crash, I haven't a backtrace to provide. Let me know if there are any interesting breakpoints you'd like to look at, though, and I can open this up in the debugger and let you know what I find.

Cheers,

--Ian Turner

Thank you for your efforts you put into this bug. kab3 has long been deprecated, and so I close its old reports. If this bug/wish is still valid for kab3's successor kaddressbook in any recent version (5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08.0 or later), please file a new bug against kaddressbook.
