sometimes after closing a program it is still visible in the taskbar, on right click the menu opens, but i can't do anything.
until now, this happens only with non kde programs like firefox or gimp.

kde 4.3.81 opensuse 11.1

well, some minutes after posting kwrite did the same, but here i only can see the icon in taskbar, the text is missing.

i forgot to mention, that on right click the menu for kmail is disabled, for gimp it is enabled
