Description gambas 2009-12-05 18:31:54 UTC
Version:            (using KDE 4.3.2)
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

If I logout while kmail is running, I don't see him again at next login.

But the kmail process is running:

$ ps axf
...
6392 ?        S      0:00 kmail -session 1028c1d320b210000125854084900000314930041_1260027916_845437
...

I must run kmail explicitely to make its main window appear. And sometimes I must do that several times before it works.

I've experienced this bug too in past. Now, using KDE 4.3.3 or KDE 4.4 SC beta1, I cannot reproduce it anymore. Probably fixed in KDE 4.3.3.

Can you reproduce with a clean user account?

I started from a fresh clean user account, and I thought the bug was fixed first. But now, a few weeks later, kmail started to being unable to restore its window again.
