Application that crashed: kompare
Version of the application: 4.0.0
KDE Version: 4.3.3 (KDE 4.3.3) "release 179"
Qt Version: 4.5.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.27.39-0.2-pae i686
Distribution: "openSUSE 11.1 (i586)"

What I was doing when the application crashed:
when trying to open 2 text files with kompare it crashes immediately. tried with different files but the situation is the same.
