Description Unknown 2009-12-04 23:43:25 UTC
Version: 2.2.1 (using 4.3.80 (KDE 4.3.80 (KDE 4.4 Beta1)) "release 9", KDE:KDE4:UNSTABLE:Desktop / openSUSE_11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-desktop

I have an external storage device which contains about 24.000 music files. As I'm usually using my laptop without it, I cannot include these files into the collection. Instead, I added the files in Local music > right click on the external storage device > Add tracks (or similar).

Amarok immediately started to map the whole device but it didn't show any progress indicator rather than it blocked its GUI thread, so it seemed as the program was froze out (playing music was ok in the background, though).
