Version of the application: 4.3.4
KDE Version: 4.3.4 (KDE 4.3.4)
Qt Version: 4.5.3
Operating System: Linux 2.6.30-gentoo-r5 x86_64

What I was doing when the application crashed:
I have one specific email causing this crash.  The crash may be caused during an attempt to smartly display images or maybe HTML, not sure.  If the email is required, I can try to forward it on.

The attached file was being displayed inline.  And was a .tif file.  When I turned off inline display, the email displayed fine.

Clicking on open, gimp comes up and displays the image fine.  Open with->gwenview and gwenview opens it fine.

Can you try send yourself some mails and test, whether tiff files in general cause kmail to crash? Or is it just a specific file? If yes, please attach it.

I just tried to watch a simple tiff file in kmail and it worked.

I know this is long ago, but could you please send me the mail?
For me this looks like a qt bug, I have some tiffs files that crash test programs only using Qt.
So I'd be interested to see if that is also such a file.
