Description Parameshwara Bhat 2009-12-02 17:20:40 UTC
Version: 2.3.1 (using 4.3.1 (KDE 4.3.1) "release 6", openSUSE 11.2)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.31.5-0.1-default

kget cannot resume after a download is stopped for whatever reason. When start/resume is clicked,it connects(can be seen),but then status turns to downloading, speed 'stalled' and stays there forever.

It seems your KIO is broken... do downloads with Konqueror work?

We need more info on that one...

Yes.kio works.Just now I am one-click installing restricted formats.I had disabled kget integration.konqueror downloaded and ran the *.ymp file.

Can you turn on the entries for KIO and KGet in kdebugdialog and start KGet from konsole...

We need more info to fix this bug...

when I start from konsole,it simply runs,no output.
Comment 5 Parameshwara Bhat 2009-12-03 02:43:20 UTC
it worked today!

I had an update yesterday and it is working today!

I had distribution upgraded to 11.2 and my first update was yesterday after upgradation. Before upgradation it was working, now it is working again.

Thanks.

IF I can share my wish with you,I only like a scheduler and individual file speed limits for downloads for kget to be complete!

We already have Speedlimits in the Bittorrent-Plugin, but for the Http stuff this needs extra work in KDElibs...
