Description Julien Narboux 2009-12-02 15:40:00 UTC
Version: 1.0.0 rc (using KDE 4.3.3)
OS: OS X
Installed from: Unlisted Binary Package

Hi,

Using Digikam 1.0.0rc under MacOSX 10.6 the button to change the size of the thumbnail bar is too small.
The height (or width if you put the thumbnail in vertical mode) is only one pixel large.

It may be a qt bug.

Using 1.6.0 under MacOSX the problem seems not to be the size of the "button" to change the the size of the thimbnail bar. It is rather that the mouse pointer does not change when one move the pointer from the thumbnail area to the preview area, the <-> pointer only appears when moving the pointer from the preview area to the thumbnail area.

Anyway it is a minor problem.

It's not a digiKam problem there, but QT4.

We use QSplitter widget.

This can be also a problem with KDE theme applied over widgets.

Under my mac, i switched to QT mac theme. The default set by KDE is CDE (why ?)
Note : it's the same problem under Windows, where default theme is CDE.

There is other relevant problem there, with fonts which has size problem...

I reassign this file to Oxygen. Please switch this entry at the right place, i'm not sure where to assign it as well. Thanks in advance...

This is definitely not an oxygen bug (no oxygen involved in any of the comments above).
If its Qt (and I too believe it is), it should be reported to Qt.
Closing.
