Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages Outlook has a feature to accept invitations without sending a response. This is especially useful when a colleague has forwarded an invitation and you want to add the event to your calendar without notifying the original organizer (who may not know who you are anyhow). At the moment the only way to accomplish this is with a cumbersome workaround: Set Kmail to offline mode, accept the invitation, find the response in the outbox and delete it, then return to online mode. Outlook accomplishes this feature with a proactive dialog, offering the options "Send the response without editing", "Edit the response before sending", or "Don't send a response." This is an acceptable paradigm, though in the kmail interface a radio button below the options might be more idiomatic.
Frankly, I'm surprised it was removed. I very clearly remember using this (quite often, too) in KDE 3.5.x.
Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding.
Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
