Description dawan 2009-11-30 18:01:59 UTC
Version: 1.12.3 (using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

If there's only one remaining folder with unread messages, and if the selected message is in this folder but *after* the last unread message, then "go to next unread folder" doesn't change anything (consistent, since we're already in it), but neither does "go to next unread message", so the only way to go to unread messages is to use "go to previous", but then they arne't read in chronological order anymore.

It would be convenient if "go to next message" could loop to the beginning of the folder.

In the settings tab under Misc what have you for "When trying to find unread messages"?

Sorry, I missed this option... indeed, it says "don't loop".
I never thought there was such an option selected, since it *did* loop on the first folder when I was after, and I would have thought that "next unread folder" and "next unread message" were identically affected by options.
But since I can obtain the behaviour I wanted, my wish report is simply useless.
