Description Marc Haber 2009-11-30 16:05:18 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.3.2)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

When I open a password protected web page in konqueror, konqueror wants me to unlock the wallet, but the window just says that the KDE daemon has requested access to the wallet. I am concerned that Malware may issue the same request.

IMO, the system should indicate more closely _why_ access to the wallet is requested, or users will blindly unlock the wallet even if it's actually Malware asking for the unlock.

Actually I think this is more a duplicate of bug 180504. This is a known problem but I haven't gotten around fixing it. It has lower priority as kwalletd doesn't have any method to actually verify that the requestee is who he claims he is.
