Description Daniel Hahler 2009-11-29 18:09:41 UTC
Version: 1.12.3 (using KDE 4.3.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

1. Select some folder
2. Press Ctrl-A to select all messages

Now, clicking a single message in the list/folder should only select this message.

The current behaviour however is that all messages keep being selected, until you go to another folder and back to this one - or when navigating via keyboard, e.g. by pressing Cursor-Right.

Confirming bug still exists in KMail 1.12.4 (KDE 4.3.4). This is a fairly new bug; it didn't exist in KDE 4.3.1.

This might be a problem with Qt or kdelibs, as the problem also occurs in other applications such as KTorrent.

See Bug 220375 for the report for the same bug in KTorrent.

Just as a note: unselect one mail (Ctrl-Click) and then click this mail, this make the selection "go right", i.e. only the clicked mail is selected.

Works for me now in KDE 4.4.0 with qt 4.6.2

Yes, it's fixed. Closing as FIXED instead.
