Version: 1.3 (using KDE 4.3.1) OS: Linux Installed from: Gentoo Packages In KDE 3.5.10 there was an option to sort the files in trash by deletion date (as you can now sort by "filename", "modification date", "file size", ...). This is very helpful if you have e.g. 100 files in trash and want to restore the last 5 ones that have accidently been deleted. ..., which happens quite often when I'm sorting photos. ;) My wish: Please add this KDE3 Konqueror feature also to KDE4 dolphin.
If I remember correctly, KDE3 Konqueror also offered the column "deleted from", which showed the path where the file was stored before it was deleted / where the file will be restored to. This also could be helpful. If you change the headline to "special 'trash'-profile for dolphin", it would capture both requests.
This is a much needed feature. Usually, users will want to restore the last file they deleted. Why should the user be forced to sort through weeks or months of files? Sort by delete date would solve this! Thanks.
I think this report and bug 190542 are talking about the same issue, except that this report contains more information :)
Just for the logs: This wish still applies to KDE 4.7.3. I just checked and could not find any option to sort by deletion date.

Bug 178476 is another duplicate that requests the "Date of deletion" and "Original file location" columns and ordering by date.
I guess this report and bug 178476 are both duplicates of, or depend upon bug 153492.
