Version: 2.2.1-2 (using KDE 4.3.2) OS: Linux Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages It's possible to delete files from within the collection pane but by now it is *not* possible to delete files from within the playlist (or better: move them to trash) like it was in Amarok1. Having this option in the playlist context menu is very useful because you decide on playing that you want to get rid of the file. And it is inconvenient then having to search for the file in the collection to delete it. Moving to trash is my prefered method because it is safer and I can collect the files I want to delete and review the list. Both options, trash and delete from disk, should be available from the playlist, that's where the action happens.

Why is this a duplicate? Bug 194546 is about adding a trash-option to the file deletion dialog of the collection, this one is about adding a file delete/trash-option to the playlist which doesn't have any by now.
This is *not* a duplicate of Bug 194546, it more is a duplicate of Bug 170999. The important part is to have the option to remove a track from the collection from within the playlist of amarok. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 170999 ***
