Can't see mouse cursor over guest in vnc connection.

Console program "vncviewer" sees it under same terms.

My comp has enabled 3d effects within kdm (disabled, but it can't solved problem) and nvidia gf8600gts with nvidia prop driver v.195.22

Guest(vnc-server) has simple video and 3d disabled.

Hm. Not in kword. Bug in krdc! Sorry.
Comment 2 Urs Wolfer 2009-11-29 11:37:16 UTC
Does it work with vncviewer, but not with KRDC?
Comment 3 Suberu 2009-11-29 17:02:45 UTC
Yes, it works in vncviewer.
Now in krdc:
Tried to connect with low connection settings - cursor replaced by small circle but many artefacts on screen.
In connection with medium and high quality settings mouse cursor disappears when moved over only remote desktop screen place. But mouse clicks works there.

What VNC server are you using? Can you reproduce this issue also with another VNC server?

tightvnc 1.3.9-106.1-i586 - opensuse 11.2 default version (configured with yast)

! with x11vnc 0.9.8-2.1-i586 - works fine with every quality and my host kde4's cursor present..

I experienced the generally same behavier as suberu described: mouse shows as circle.. no graphical feedback. similar hard and software on both sides of the connection. Did not tried any workarounds.

I confirm the bug with the openSUSE 11.2 default packages:

krfb-4.3.1-4.3
krdc-4.3.1-4.3

Mmmm. Too much time passed. I'm thinking it was fixed.
