Version: (using KDE 4.3.3) OS: Linux Installed from: Archlinux Packages *what happens: kmail disobbeys my changed imap default send server settings *steps to reproduce: i have 2 imap mail accounts set(gmail & aol), when i go to settings > accounts > sending tab and choose the other (aol) + select 'set default' the title changes ok( => now aol (default) ) BUT when i try to send email, i get cannot connect to smtp.gmail.com, that's why i infer that gmail is still set as default smtp server. happens even after restart. cheers, mark :)
Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report. KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2. We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
